I get cooking smells from my neighbour’s semi. The neighbour is a great DIY enthusiast and since we have been here (six years) he has renovated his house room by room. The cooking smell did not appear until he did his kitchen. He swears nothing has changed structurally. They do not have an extractor fan, but he has tiled in his cooker. We would like to remain on good terms. Surely there must be a device out there that can pinpoint where a smell is coming from and how it can get into another property? The houses are a pair and date back to Edwardian times. J Plant
